My final day of freely exploring Mudgee before recommencing my day job was one of exploration and rest.
I’d driven not ten minutes out of town and found a peaceful, seemingly secluded, spot.
With cattle and tall trees on one side of the road and mountains behind grassy fields on the other, I was alone and content.
It was a stark reminder that one doesn’t have to venture far to enjoy a little exploration.
