This is another original in my Vintage wallpaper series called Major Mitchells.
They are one of my most favourite birds to paint & I just love their colours.
This is the first painting I have created in a series called "Vintage Flora & Fauna"
Birds are painted in acrylic onto wallpapered board & framed in a stained oak floating frame.
The wallpaper is Vintage from the 1950's & is inspired by the true essence of Australia in that time period. Please note due to the nature of vintage wallpaper in the background there are very minor marks etc.
This is an ongoing series..
