This artwork was painted by Daniel McCulloch in 2022.
This one is dusty pink like a desert flower, but still more of a jungle to me. The palette used in this artwork is more muted, but through the use of dark greens and highlights in smaller portions, it holds it's own as a feature piece. The composition and structure within the piece are well balanced, and the paint has been laid down with flawless execution. The finished surface is entirely uniform - No brushstrokes or imperfections in sheen to unnecessarily draw your attention.
This is a large scale work measuring 101.4cm (H) x 178cm (W) or (40'' x 70'' inches).
The painting has been completed on premium CARAVAGGIO 508 Jute (500GSM - Double Primed Coarse Jute), and stretched on professional Heavy Duty stretcher bars by Fitzroy Stretches in Melbourne.
I have included a photograph of myself with the finished artwork for colour accuracy and scale references.
